Search Engine Results Page or a Google Listing is what is returned when a person does a search in an Internet search engine like Google.

Search Engine Results Page (SERP)

Typically a SERP contains referrals to just 10 different webpages. Ideally, you always want your webpage to place in the first SERP, and certainly it should be listed somewhere in the first three SERPs.

If your webpage does not place somewhere within the first three pages of SERPs, then it is considered not to have placed at all and needs more SEO work done to it.
