SEO Tips & Tricks: They Don’t Want You to Know About

Search Engine Optimization

SEO is an acronym which stands for Search Engine Optimization. Natural organic search engine optimization should be extremely important to any web site which wants to be found by the public, since search engines are how most people find sites on the Internet.

Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on our blog is about how to write web pages that rank well in the Google Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs) using natural organic methods.

While you might think that search engine optimization would optimize your site for all search engines like Google, MSN or Yahoo. In reality, you can only optimize a web page for one search engine, as there are differences in how each search engine would rank the identical web page. While what we offer will work in general for all search engines, your respective page rankings will vary between the different search engines. While, real lasting SEO is simply not possible as Google’s algorithms are constantly changing and because Google uses hundreds of different datacenters; the basic rules of natural organic SEO will last a very long time.

Another mistake website operators often make, is trying to humanize why a particular page is not doing well in the SERPs. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is about playing games with a computer. Search engine optimization is about doing battle with computer algorithms. Good SEO is simply a matter of giving the search engine what it wants to see in a format that is useful to human beings.

Great compelling content is the starting point, rather than the end point of Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Whether or not your content is ever changing or should change frequently depends entirely on what you are trying to achieve with your web site. And, has nothing to do with Search Engine Optimization (SEO). The same goes for website promotion. While promoting your site is important, advertising the existence of your site has absolutely nothing to do with search engine optimization. All those SEO scam artists out there who are constantly hawking the necessity of obtaining links from other sites, do not have a clue as to what they are talking about.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is a rational and simple process. It has absolutely nothing to do with gibberish about pagerank dilution, leakage, Link Juice, and a lack of good quality inbound links. That type of language is used by scam artists who are just trying to con you out of your money. Outside of engaging in prohibited linking schemes, webmasters have absolutely no control over who links to their site, no matter how much time they waste on engaging in superstitious behavior. The only advice that you will find offered on this WordPress blog is about stuff that webmasters actually have control over.

Search Engine Optimization is about tweaking the content that you started out with. SEO is about fine tuning what webmasters actually have control over. Calculating PR leakage is for people with too much time on their hands.
